(no subject)

I finished my Sterek auction fic, and am now just awaiting beta. I don't know how happy I am with the fic. It was supposed to be 10-15k and ended up a little over 20k, but to me it still feels rushed. I could probably have written 10k more of it to develop the relationship some more, but NOPE, not doing it.

Now majoline is going to suggest I change all my comma placement, and I'm going to ignore half of the suggestions because my style relies on misuse of commas and a lack thereof. :P Hopefully I caught all the plot holes and repeated words/phrases and stuff like that on my own.

So now I need to start my second (and last) auction fic, which will be Steter. I have a basic idea of what I'm doing, but I don't have a solid plot yet. I have the scenario but not the structure.

And then once I'm done with that last auction fic, I can be free of Teen Wolf and I can write all the Guardian fics I want! I have a plot bunny doc where I keep my ideas, adding to it as I come up with new things, and I have so many ideas already! I wish I had more straightforward Weilan ideas, though. I guess you can't help what your id comes up with. Unless...

...maybe Ye Zun is mind controlling me to get me to write him some more happy endings?

I finally got my (Teen Wolf) Sterek fic written/beta'd/edited/posted. It's here if you're wanting to read it! I know I've been talking bad about it on here lately, but it really isn't that awful. The ending is a little rushed, but it's not terrible. It's Omegaverse, which I know some of you can't stand, but it might be a draw to someone else! I think my favorite part of it is Peter flirting with Stiles to get Derek to make a move. Or maybe Peter just likes Stiles. *g*

Speaking of Peter & Stiles, my next auction fic to write is Steter, and I have the basic premise but I don't know how to start it. Starting a fic is always interesting. I spend a day or a week angsting over it, and then the perfect start comes to me out of the blue (we hope) and I can get to writing. I just need to focus on it a little more instead of wondering how soulmates work in a 'verse where twins always share a soulmate. (Is it a symbol/mark, a first words thing, a touch-and-we-know thing? Please tell me if you have thoughts on this!)

The Guardian 520 exchange went live today!!!! (I keep calling it all the wrong names. I might get it right next year.) I haven't looked/read much of it yet (since I was editing and posting and angsting, and then also there were family things), but I did read the fic that was written for me, so I can link it and gush!
