HOWEVER! I did manage to finish the outline for my first Frostiron fic. I'm hoping I can write it.

The other two fics I'm sorta actively working on (the Inception time travel and my Sterek for

teenwolfbigbang) continue to flit around in my mind and one day I'll do more than think about them aggressively.

I could use more sounding boards or cheerleaders. If you're interested in either Arthur/Eames, Loki/Tony Stark, or Derek/Stiles ABO, you could leave a comment and maybe we can chat about it?

The Great Subconscious Club - Mikkeneko (AO3)
This series is amazing. It's got one of the best explanations of Loki's actions during the Avengers movie, not completely original but much more than a handwavey 'it was mind control/torture' or 'it was all a devious plot in Midgard's favor' and very well done. The friendship between Charles Xavier and Loki is very well written. Canon Charles usually sets me teeth on edge, but he's great here while still in-character. Loki's growth and healing is just awesome. The second fic in the series, 'Cover Up the Sun' features Loki being a total BAMF while protecting others - violent protectiveness is my bulletproof narrative kink and it's incandescent here. I rec this 'verse SO HARD.

Honestly, all Stiles wanted was to live to see eighteen without serious bodily harm or, you know, death. She has no idea when the hell that turned into the supernatural version of the Hunger Games. // This is the latest installment in my absolute favorite female!Stiles 'verse, *Like the Greeks*. Until I read this, I was pretty sure nothing could top the 3rd story in the series. I was pleased and surprised to find out this one is even better.

The emotion in the story was just wonderful - Bucky's thoughts and feelings evolving and surfacing as well as the (sometimes incomprehensible to Bucky) emotions/reactions of the people around him. Truly one of the best fics I've read in any fandom."

No Force in the Universe Can Stop Me - notbeloved07 - Multifandom [Archive of Our Own]
In an AU, instead of taking out Tony's arc-reactor, Obadiah Stane kidnapped Tony, faked his death in a "lab accident", imprisoned him, and forced him to design weapons for Stane. Bruce is going about his day hacking Stark Industries to learn more about the Hulkbuster weapons when he comes across some discrepancies in the code--subtle things, like inefficient loops in otherwise streamlined code, bizarre variable names, or incorrect comments. Intrigued, he goes through all the code of SI's weapons industry, comes up with a pattern, and finds the messages Tony has been hiding in the code. And then he goes and busts Tony out. Lots of badassery, including on Tony's part--he may be defeated, but he's not broken.

Pack dynamics are confusing enough for the Avengers without adding the complete mess that Thor and Loki grew up with, but they aren't given much choice when Loki goes into heat in the middle of a battle and Tony's alpha instincts tell him he has to take care of his pack, enemy or no. Featuring: Loki just needs some love, Bruce really wants to go Hulk on Odin, Tony is confused about everything (but not as much as Steve), Clint is an absolute ass (& drags Natasha and Phil along for the ride), Pepper is kinda a BAMF
