I finally got my (Teen Wolf) Sterek fic written/beta'd/edited/posted. It's here if you're wanting to read it! I know I've been talking bad about it on here lately, but it really isn't that awful. The ending is a little rushed, but it's not terrible. It's Omegaverse, which I know some of you can't stand, but it might be a draw to someone else! I think my favorite part of it is Peter flirting with Stiles to get Derek to make a move. Or maybe Peter just likes Stiles. *g*

Speaking of Peter & Stiles, my next auction fic to write is Steter, and I have the basic premise but I don't know how to start it. Starting a fic is always interesting. I spend a day or a week angsting over it, and then the perfect start comes to me out of the blue (we hope) and I can get to writing. I just need to focus on it a little more instead of wondering how soulmates work in a 'verse where twins always share a soulmate. (Is it a symbol/mark, a first words thing, a touch-and-we-know thing? Please tell me if you have thoughts on this!)

The Guardian 520 exchange went live today!!!! (I keep calling it all the wrong names. I might get it right next year.) I haven't looked/read much of it yet (since I was editing and posting and angsting, and then also there were family things), but I did read the fic that was written for me, so I can link it and gush!

Soulmate AU! Yay!

I've always liked the idea of symbols for soulmarks, so you're constantly looking for the person with the matching symbol.

Or ones where each person gets a portion of a symbol and it completes when they meet their soulmate. So a person is usually born with a mark which is half of a whole design, and then once they meet their soulmate both of their marks complete.

I get like that with fic ideas too. Things often come to me when I’m walking the dog and then I have to keepit I my head until I get home to note it down. It’s strange you mention that, because for Klego week I did a fic for the soulmarks prompt with twins having the same soulmate too!

Oooh how did you deal with it? In mine the twins are separated as adolescents and get reunited through their soulmate, but I'm not sure exactly how I want to do it.

Basically though Diego is separated from his twin at birth and finds him later when he leaves the academy (though the backstory of that isn’t covered in the fic). His twin has a soul mark in the shape of an an Umbrella and glows when Diego enters the room after Klaus is bought to him

What backstory you did provide was tantalizing! I liked it a lot. Thank you for linking, now I have a better idea of what I want to do with mine. Funnily enough, I was already planning on having a gang plot in mine, since it fits with canon as an AU.
