ideas? thoughts? prompts?

I am brainstorming ideas for my 'gender play' square in kink bingo. I want to do Pam (from True Blood) at the turn of the century, but I don't know how to push it from 'crossdressing' into actual 'gender play'. One idea is having her play at being a young male prostitute who gets off on passing. I think I nicked that from Tipping the Velvet. I'm not sure I want to do that in particular, though.

Does anyone have any ideas on gender play for a female character in about 1900? I will shamelessly steal all your ideas. :D
