Pornstars Derek and Stiles work for the same company. Derek only shoots with werewolves and Stiles only shoots with humans. That's not going to change after they meet. It's really not. (It might.) // I don't usually get into porn!AUs because of my very personal intimacy issues (hee, not rly personal if I'm gonna talk about it now, right?) but this one hit all the right notes for me and I adored it. Very satisfying, even with the 'I misunderstood your feelings completely and you misunderstood mine, too! woe!' angst trope that I'm not quite sick of but starting to side-eye more and more. DESPITE that, this is a good, long read. :)?

Stiles would rather be at home playing X-Box than attending the ceremony inaugurating the Wolf nation's sovereignty over the Argent kingdom, but he's the Sheriff's son so those are the breaks. What he doesn't expect is the feral werewolf Prince Derek AKA The Beast to take an interest in him. // So I think I have a real THING for feral behavior. There are not nearly enough fics at AO3 with that tag. I love this story.

Stiles could still remember Derek with a slave collar, so much younger: his face contorted with pain when he couldn't change on the full moon, his hand scrabbling at his neck like he was being choked. His fingers wrapped around the moonstone and metal, pulling and tearing for all he was worth, but still not strong enough to break it. How Derek had collapsed back against the wall in defeat, hands clenched into useless fists. Stiles shuddered at the memory, not sure that Derek would survive it this time if they collared him. Scratch that -- sure Derek wouldn't want to survive it this time. He'd rather die than live as a slave to the Argents. // One of the best stories I've read recently. It covers a lot of time but it isn't a slog. It's pretty amazing, actually. Highly recced.
