1. I finished the rough draft of my Tentacle Big Bang fic. \\\o///

2. I am greenie-green on spotify. please tell me who you are on spotify so I can spy on your musical taste.

3. I am terrible at tumblr. I fail totally at tumblr. I don't even OPEN tumblr except when I remember it's there (about twice a month or so), and then I don't post anything new or interesting.

4. I bought morrowind a couple of weeks ago (xbox version) on ebay for cheapsies but it's not working on my xbox 360. probably because of my hard drive? maybe? the seller swore up and down that it'd been tested. idk. I went through all the troubleshooting on the xbox site and nada.

5. I need to sell some of my shit. I need money so fucking bad for the court stuff with meg. the problem with selling on ebay is that no one wants to BUY my stuff since it's ... old stuff. I just wish I could bundle everything up in a box and sell it for a couple hundred at once and be done with it. I live out in the boondocks and can't have a yard sale here or I'd do that.

Val at Fanlore and her memorial award

I've found I'm not very good at editing wikis, especially to say what they should say, like 'Val was amazing'. But I've added a couple of her fics as Notable Works and tried to say something about her writing. I'm sure some of you can do a better job. Please add to the page if you can.

Her sister just posted about the Valerie Lewis Memorial Award.

As a tribute, we have set up The Valerie Lewis Memorial Award for Excellence in Creative Writing. In this way, her life's work and her influence on her students can continue. Checks can be made out to Mercy College, memo: Valerie Lewis Memorial Award and mailed to Mercy College, English Program, English Program, c/o Frances Biscoglio, 555 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. This information will be in her obituary but I have had so many people asking if there's something they can and so wanted to get this information out there. I am so proud of my sister for always doing the work she loved and teaching with the same enthusiasm and uniqueness of her character. She never gave up on a student and she was always so excited when they made progress and began to share her love for writing. I know this award can never replace her impact on future students, but I hope in some small way it keeps her influence in this world. Please pass this on to others as you can.
