In your own space, rec at least three fanworks that you think would make a good intro into XYZ fandom. Rec a fandom overview, a introductory picspam, stories that define and shape the fandom.
I don't normally do small fandoms but this one is near and dear to my heart. And almost completely dead, woe. Once upon a time,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sisabet sent me some VCDs of this show and I fell in love. (I think most of the fandom grew out of folks mailing VCDs) I even wrote fic!
What it is: Okay, so. There's this (gorgeous and snarky) thief who agrees to have a gland implanted in his brain so he can go invisible (this was his only way of staying out of prison). Only there's a catch - the 'quicksilver' that allows the invisibility builds up in his body and slowly kills him. So he has to get these injections so he doesn't die - but the only people who have the counteragent are a secret government organization! So the (gorgeous and snarky) thief partners up with a (badass and snarky) agent and together they fight crime!
Crack Van has a better overview. Alas, all the pictures are dead. But there are some pictures of Darien Fawkes here! Completely shallow and perfect. And then there are MORE pictures here, this time of Bobby Hobbes. (you might, at first glance, not understand the HOTNESS of Bobby Hobbes. That is because you are a newbie to I-Man. Just wait and see.)
Where to find it:
Oh god. Now, here's the problem. SciFi/SyFy only put out season 1 on DVD and not season 2. BUT there are people who know people who might be able to find S2 for you. Maybe?
