Troy Davis

In case you don't know, there's a man scheduled to be executed on Sept. 21st in Georgia. His name is Troy Davis and there is evidence he didn't kill anyone at all. Seven of nine witnesses have contradicted their testimony or recanted. Informants have recanted. Evidence is shaky if not completely unrelated to the case in the first place. The initial investigation left out a key suspect. The judge in the case admitted that his ruling 'was not ironclad'.

But even after all of this, the state of Georgia is determined to put Troy Davis to death. Please help save him by sending letters. There's a link at the end of this post to the NAACP form that will send along your letter to the appropriate people.
