more nano stuff

I made an outline using mindmapping software called FreeMind. It's free and it's AWESOME.

tinypic resized my outline, but you can get a pretty good idea of what I did if you squint

So anyway, Nano is going to be Frank/Gerard, sci-fi, future with robot overlords, Logan's Run fusion (with some changes, but really not many. I'm staying pretty close to the film but not the book or the series or the comics). :D?

The question I need you guys to answer is: should I post it as I go along?

I was awed of your mindmap, and so I downloaded FreeMind. But it quickly became apparent that I have no idea how to outline; I cannot even figure out how to use the cheater outline software. Brain fail.

Am all for posting it as you go along, the encouragement (and/or pressure!) might push you to go on. As a general rule I think you should have ~2 chapters unposted at any point in time though, so even if you're stuck at any point in time you can post those 2 as a buffer and feel good about still being able to put something up. 8D

Robot overlords = AWESOME.

And your mindmap is seriously impressive. Let me know if you need cheerleading or audiencing or whatever. <333! (That is, I can't say if you should post it as you go or not. Go with your gut; I'll be reading it whenever you want to post it.)

ah OneNotebook (maybe OneNote?) is this software that comes with Microsoft Office Student. You can draw, highlight, write, tag things, insert attachments, pictures, URLs... etc.

It's excellent for taking notes in class. Probably for outlining a story too, but you are much more organised than I am about NaNoWri :-)
