lolol but I have to ask, what is the ideal trauma for this imaginary fic? because the first thing that comes to mind is either a bus accident or a plane crash, where everyone else dies and mikey comes out with just a few scratches, and gerard just happened to not be there, and they both have survivor guilt and mikey has trauma from the crash and sees/dreams of shattered glass and blood every time he closes his eyes. so mikey is not sleeping, he's forcing himself to stay awake, and he's not entirely stable WITHOUT the lack of sleep, and gerard doesn't know how to be there for him except to cut himself off from the rest of the world and try his best to take care of him. and then there's the sex I might write, but see, I need to know what kind of trauma.
