Adam came over again last night and it was good. :)

I'm thinking of signing up for hurt/comfort bingo. I LOVE hurt/comfort. But I don't know if I can take on another challenge right now.

Does anyone have any ideas for my verbal humiliation square? Pairings, scenarios? I'm having trouble with it.

Although, really, it's partly just common sense that basically EVERYONE ON LOST would get off on the idea of being insulted. LOL Losties

(On the other hand, I am so bad at some kink that I tremble at the idea of verbally humiliating most of them. Maybe, like. Harper Goodwin. That's about all I could bear.)

The problem with writing Lost is that I don't feel like I have a handle on ANY of the characters.

On the other hand, ~500 words where the emphasis is kink might be a good chance to get your feet wet.

True, true. 500 words isn't a lot, but even with that I feel like I need to get into the characters' heads. Which I MIGHT be able to do with Jack, but I don't particularly LIKE Jack. :\

I am bad at writing Lost! I want to do it, but woe, no grasp of characters. :(

Humiliation is my one and only squick. I mean, I read the Harry Potter trepanning fic without flinching, but I can't take humiliation at all.

That said... I can imagine a universe where bb!Patrick is into that. Hearing his body issues and self-esteem issues confirmed, by somebody who stays and wants to sex him up regardless... yeah, I could see that. With anyone except Pete, whose visceral reaction would I think be the same as mine... beating the shit out of anyone who dared to talk to [Patrick] that way.

I think I will stick to a very very mild humiliation kink. I can deal with A calling B a slut. That can be hot! But humiliating in other ways I can't deal with.

\o/\o/\o/ some of the squares are MOAST ridiculous. They have SERIOUS BUSINESS hurt comfort and then they have things like 'fear of clowns' and 'experimented on by evil scientists' -- both of which I got on my card.

Oh, there are definitely fandoms where you can reasonably write Serious Business 'experimented on by evil scientists'. Lost would do, as would any Stargate. Anywhere completely ridiculous plots are done with a straight face in canon.

Fear of clowns, maybe not. Unless you're talking It fanfic... which.... hey, does that exist? It should.

Yeah, I'll probably write SGA fic for the evil scientists one! \o/
