I forgot to take my meds last night and today I'm a mess. It shouldn't be out of my system so fast, should it? But omg, I feel like my brains are scrambled. :(

I apologize for any weird conversations I had with any of you today.

I have a friend who was on Xanax, and went to the hospital for a gall bladder attack. They wouldn't let her have her regular meds on schedule, and she was a mess after being just a few hours late. The hospital insisted that it would be in her bloodstream for days, but the experiential evidence says otherwise.

I used to be on a beta blocker that did have to adhere to a strict 12 hr dosing schedule. I weaned myself off it (took 4 months) because the side effects were awful, especially the consequences of missing a dose. That was over two years ago and I still reflexively ask myself "Did I take the Coreg?" when turning out the lights on the way to bed. If negative reinforcement works as well for you as it does for me, I doubt you'll forget again!

I hope today is better for you. That sounds horrible.
