I WROTE ANOTHER 5K ON MY AWAKE FUSION TODAY! \o/

Major things happened! I wrote an uncomfortable dinner scene AND a bam! pow! wham! action scene. I'm so proud of myself! But soon comes the really angsty parts, and I don't know how well I'll do with those. They HURT to write, you know? I hate it when I feel all uncomfortable as I write. I wish I could separate from my writing and just go 'this is really angsty! mwahahaha!' but I can't.

So now it's standing in at 20k, with probably another ... 6 or 7k to go, maybe? IDK, I'm never good at estimating. Stuff has to happen.

The working title of the fic is Awake and Unafraid, which are of course lyrics from Famous Last Words by My Chemical Romance. The song really really fits the fic. Amazingly, awesomely so, really. Because of this fic, I have listened to the song, which is the first MCR song I've listened to since the breakup. I hadn't been able to listen, but I am and it's okay. I'm okay.

Lately I've felt like I'm just posting in a vacuum. A void. I know someone's reading this, right? Could you please say hi or something?

I know what you mean about feeling bad when you're writing an angsty part. I've never been good at distancing myself emotionally from the characters I'm writing, either.

It's okay to be quiet! I wasn't judging or anything, just feeling kinda lonely.

I usually avoid conflict in my stories, which actually does not make for good storytelling. There's SUPPOSED to be conflict, you know? But it makes me feel queasy.
