will not be getting pain relief any time soon. doc won't give me the good drugs. going to pain management next month, though, and hopefully THEY will help me. I mean, I can't sleep at night because if I roll a little I'm in pain. UGH. it's not like I would take them every day, just when it flares up. UGH. anyway, I have a really fucked up disc and that's what's wrong. he's giving me 6 weeks of physical therapy before we look at surgery, but surgery seems to be a real option at this point.

I hate to be this direct, but this doctor is an asshole.

My dad's in a lot of pain a lot of the time, and I can see the toll it takes on him.

I just got back from having more x-rays and now I'm really in pain from them making me roll back and forth on that hard table and extending as far as I could while standing. so now I've got extra pain to deal with. >:(

I agree with the comment above, that doctor sounds like an asshole. Being in pain is incredibly stressful for the body and chronic pain can completely fuck up the body's ability to handle pain in the future. *hugs you a lot*
