Got my e-cigarette in the mail yesterday! Wish me lots of luck with my quitting.

T came over yesterday. We had a great visit together.

DJ is homesick and wants to go back to his dad's.

Making friends on FetLife! Hopefully will meet someone in person soon. I'm looking forward to making more RL friends.

GK is still on my 'to watch' list, so I haven't been able to see that side of him yet. I'll get to it eventually though. :D

I'm definitely enjoying it, although it's been a complicated viewing process. I recommend it though!

Lots and lots of good luck!!! It was both easy and hard for me when I quit smoking. I only started smoling as an adult and had only smoked for ten years so I didn't have the same ingrained habits as those who started smoking as teenagers do, but the first few weeks were still very tough.

I started smoking when I was 13/14, so it's been really hard to quit so far. Thank you for the encouragement, bb. <3

My sister started when she was around 15 and when she tried to stop when she was around 40 it took her two or three tries before she really managed it. So I have lots of faith in you, you can do it!!

I quit once for three years, but then my divorce happened and I went back to it. :\ Stress is awful when you've quit. You want to fall back on that crutch really badly. When I quit earlier this year I went back to it after 6 weeks because of anxiety and stress. Hopefully with this e-cig I'll have THAT to fall back on instead of actual cigarettes. :)

Good luck on not smoking! Can I ask what brand of e-cig you bought, if you don't mind my doing so?

Definitely good luck with the giving up, the SO and I did it a few years ago it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. We tried a couple of times before, but we didn't use any of the patches or any other tools designed to help us quit and lo and behold we didn't succeed!

The first three days were the most difficult for me, but as long as you got something to help you through it (which you have), your chances of succeeding improve massively :-)

What are e-cigarettes? I'm just glad I never started smoking *sigh* bad enough that my parents smoke and I'm passive smoking most of the time grrr.

Electronic cigarettes are made of plastic and metal and deliver nicotine in a safe vapor. Cool, huh? So far I have cut down to about half of what I was smoking of normal cigarettes.
