I need to make myself a new writing icon. One that thoroughly conveys my neurotic attitude toward the craft.

I finished the second draft and sent it off to lim, athos, fox1013, and Kat. I am waiting, with bitten fingers and a headache, to hear what they think.

I wish I could read it with fresh eyes. It seems like a jumble to me right now. I don't know what it needs. I think I hit the right notes on a couple of scenes that needed it, but other than that I don't know. I think this draft is better than the first, although it's (amazingly enough) missing more than the first draft was. I rewrote the majority of the fic. Once I get this beta back, I will be able to edit IN EARNEST, but until I get feedback on it I am stuck just staring at the file going 'what does it neeeeeeed?'

Oh writing. Such a joy you are.

Hee! I think when I'm finished with this fic I'm going to write some actual writing meta. I'm thinking a lot about writing in general these days.

I'll be able to give a more detailed opinion tomorrow, I'm still taking it easy with my Wrist of Death today... which technically means I shouldn't be online at all but hey, I'm a rebel. ♥ Do you wanna do it over chat again or shall I just insert comments and send them back to you?
