The thing with Meg and hospitals is that they want to restrain her. And DNW restraints. They piss us off.

So after arguing with the EMU team (who were refusing to put the electrodes she pulled off back on unless we restrained her), I talked to her doctor and argued with HIM. I cannot tell you how many times they all tried to tell me that 'oh, soft restraints aren't PAINFUL'. Yeah, well. They piss me off and they piss Meg off. So finally they listened to me and put mitts on her (like boxing gloves) so that she wouldn't pull at the electrodes. (And I asked the EMU woman how many were on her and she's like 'oh, just 27')

My mom didn't get any sleep last night but she wanted me to have the hotel room again tonight. I argued with HER, but she was afraid she'd get lost driving in Gainesville (even though we could've called the shuttle, she still wouldn't take the hotel room)

So here I am again in the hotel.

OH. The hotel? Has no rooms for Thursday and Friday night. It's graduation weekend and apparently all the hotels (or at least the first ELEVEN) were booked solid. Finally, on the twelfth call, I found a room for Thursday and Friday night, and booked it.

I wish I was around to post comments on all the WONDERFUL Three Weeks For Dreamwidth posts. There's a couple of comment fic/kink memes going on that I want to participate in but can't. Hopefully next week will be back to normal.

Thanks. Yeah, Meg was pretty pissed about the wires last night and yanked them all out. But now she has giant mitts on her hands and can't grab them. They're kinda cute. :)
