green | (no subject)

writing. hmm. yesterday I wrote a total of 680 words, about half on a Guardian fic and half on my Steter fic. and today I kinda glared at those projects and started something completely new.

Bee is in fucking Austria for a week and can't be my ~~constant enabler~~ cheerleader. This might lead to me deleting what I call 'excessive pining', which Bee usually saves.

I messed around with my vid software today. I haven't tried vidding in so long that I forgot what to do. It's coming back slowly.

The

stetermonthlyprompt for June is Eclipse. Maybe I'll do something and maybe I won't. Probably not, but it's more likely to jolt something loose than May's prompt.

And it's almost time for the Steter Reverse Bang deadline. I did not manage to finish writing the thing for my thing. No one liked my playlist, or they didn't want to write something dark, so it got passed over by all the pinch hitters. This is disappointing. I did start something for it, and maybe I'll post what I have. Idk.

I am waiting to get my newest coffeemaker. The new coffeemaker that we got 3 weeks ago started boiling coffee in the pot. So I had to order a new new coffeemaker that is like the old coffeemaker and not at all like the new one. The new one that is on the fritz is a Black & Decker. I liked the way it looked and it worked nicely for three whole weeks. The old one (and the newest new one) is Mr. Coffee.

(If you are wondering why we don't return the new coffeemaker, it is because it was a free item through Walmart's 'spark review' program. the review is already in and can't be edited.) (the stuff we get through spark review is usually pretty awesome, this is the first time we've had a problem like this)

My phone is old and almost completely obsolete. I've been meaning to get a new one for... a year? Definitely since the hurricane/aftermath when I was forcibly reminded how crap the current one is. But phones are so expensive, and I haven't gotten a new one yet.

Ha! I do this too. I've been known to go through drafts, taking an axe to bits where there's TOO MUCH EMOTION! ;-)

I give you the sad puppy-dog eyes of someone who has trouble writing ENOUGH emotion in the first place. Mine is all understated and implied, even when it shouldn't be.

Oh, I have that too! I am a contradictory mess. *g* But I like understated and stoic, so when I do accidentally write ~~Shen Wei~~ someone tearing up, I tend to edit it out, sooner or later.

I (try to) do this, but then I get my first round readers wanting me to leave it all in.
