snowflake challenge day 1

From today's [community profile] snowflake_challenge: In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.

Okay, so I picked three works. One is a vid, one is art, and one is fic. I will tell you why I picked them!

Title: Rebel Girl
Fandom: Whip It
Medium: Vid
Summary: A love letter to Bliss.
Why I chose this: I think it's my best vid to date. It has its problems, but it's fun and makes me want to dance and I think I got my point across well. (that point being BLISS IS AWESOME) The download link doesn't work and I lost the file on my old computer, but you can still watch it on YouTube.

Title: TBP-era Mikey
Fandom: My Chemical Romance
Medium: Art
Summary: Mikey Way rocking out.
Why I chose this: It's the best vector (fan)art I've done. I hope I can make Inkscape work for me this well. (I did this one in Illustrator)

Title: Choose Your Own (a Mikeyway Adventure)
Fandom: My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Cobra Starship, The Young Veins/PATD/whatever Ryan Ross is doing these days
Medium: Fic (explicit and underage)
Summary: A high school AU choose your own adventure fic revolving around Mikey Way. :D
Why I chose this: This isn't the best writing I've ever done, nor is it representative of my usual stuff. But it was FUN, dammit. I had so much fun writing it and putting it together, and I'm very proud of it.

As always, feedback is love. ♥ HAPPY NEW YEAR, everyone!

Doing it by chapter might work, but sounds like a lot of work. *checks multichaptered work on kindle* Hmm, apart from the chapter headings, there seems to be little to no separation from one chapter to another. Meaning especially with the shorter parts you might get more than one "chapter" showing on the display at the same time. Could probably work around that by adding a bunch of empty lines at the end of each segment? An Ao3 / e-reader-compliant version would be rad, for sure. :D
Looks like some people have given this a try, already, right here on Ao3. Too late for me in the day to check how they did it, but maybe something there helps.

NO! I had not seen that, but it is totally relevant to my interests, awesome, thanks! :D Ryan North, man. I still remember that name from the Dinosaur Comics. Totally fell off the webcomic bandwagon a couple years ago, tho. (hey, more time for fandom, whatever ^^)
