Bands I love: Musically I'm all about Empires, The Hush Sound and Gold Motel with some serious affection for Panic in cabaret or hippie mode, plus non-bandom stuff. Fandom-wise, I am largely centered around Panic/TYV, with huge amounts of affection/interest in TAI, the Hushies, Empires, Travis, Chicago hipsters, Alex Greenwald and Cobras. I like FOB and MCR, but I tend not to seek out fic focused on them.
Other fandoms: To a certain extent, Harry Potter, Discworld, Glee, and figure skating RPF. I get pretty excited when I come across good fic from Revolutionary Girl Utena, The Chronicles of Chrestomanci, classic lit and probably a dozen other things it never occurs to me to be fannish about until I find something.
Favorite pairings: I ship everyone in bandom/everyone in bandom. I'm OTP-ish about Ryan/Spencer, Gabe/William and Tom/Jon. I ship Panic GSF (and any combination of the boys) and anything involving Empires boys with other Empires boys really hard. Also a fan of rarepairs and Cobras hooking with other Cobras. And randomly, Mike Carden/Kevin Jonas. Also, Joe Trohman and Greta Salpeter being awesome. Character/being awesome is a valid ship.
Do you write fic? Make art? I write a lot of chat and not!fic, some of which I post at wise_enough. I'm anticipating writing more as I have time. I'm doing art for BBB this year and periodically dabble in making icons and headers.
Other journal content: This is a fannish journal, so expect rambling about music, memes, meta on a variety of topics, links to stuff I find interesting, a ton of things tangentially connected to bandom.
Something random about yourself: I recently dyed my hair a really unnatural red and I'm still getting used to the color and people coming up to me and telling me how awesome it looks.
