Bands I love: My Chemical Romance! I also love The Used music wise but I'm not really fannish about them. I like some of Cobra Starship and Fall Out Boys music but I'm not particularly fannish about them.
Other fandoms: I'm a fannish serial monogamist and for the last couple of years I've been all about bandom and MCR. I occasionally read fic in old fandoms like Harry Potter or Buffy, and I watch a lot of classic Doctor Who but I'm not into the fandom at all.
Favorite pairings: Gerard is my OTC in this fandom so I'll read any slash pairing with Gerard in it. Bob/Gerard will always have a special place in my heart and so will Gerard/Patrick. And Gabe/Gerard is my new happy place.
Do you write fic? Make art? I make icons and wallpapers and I rec both fic and art regularly.
Other journal content: My boring daily life, my cat, photography, cooking, DW (and LJ) news, fannish news that's caught my eye.
Something random about yourself: I'm Swedish and I'm almost old enough to be Gerard's mother.

I think a lot of people probably have an OTC rather than an OTP so it's strange that it's a fannish concept that's hardly talked about at all.

A lot of people on my flist seem to have Frank as their OTC. Or Bob or Mikey. Hardly anyone has Gerard though. I wonder why? He's the frontman/lead singer after all.

That is interesting. I certainly love Gerard, but I tend to only like reading him with Frank, Brian or Bert. (or LynZ. oh wait, or Adam.)

... IDK I like reading Frank with Bob or Mikey or Gerard or Jamia (\o/) or Mikey/Pete ... hm.

I'm amending my previous statement to say bandom/bandom is my OTP. :-)
