1. took my dog (Greta, 14) to the vet today. blood work came back well and she got her kennel cough and parvo shots. she has some arthritis and got an anti-inflammatory for that.

2. the immortal werewolf/reincarnated hunter book is coming along just fine. I'm not hating it yet.

3. today I took my day 8 dose of Viibryd. the side effects aren't back yet, so let's keep it that way, body (I've been taking ginger caplets with it, which has helped with nausea)

4. I need to email some friends I've lost touch with. good friends. ones I still love and consider family. I hate when fannish drift happens and you just... stop talking. losing my best friend has made it clearer that I need to be a better friend. not that I'm to blame for the recent 'falling out', but it made me reevaluate who my friends are and what I'm doing to keep those relationships strong.

5. still haven't done any of the snowflake days. wtf, self.

Me too! day 8 was going up into a larger dose and then I'll go up again at the end of the second week to the dose I'll supposedly stay on. It's always tricky when you're changing the dosage.

I do think my mood has improved, though.

I'm so glad it's working so far. Medicine is such a crap shoot. I hate the way you have to try everything and then decide whether you're willing to put up with the side effects. LOL

Yeah. I'm dealing with some mild side effects, but they aren't making me stop the med, and the med is working, so I'll stick it out.

Yay for Greta getting a generally good bill of health and some meds for her arthritis! And yay for no side effects, may that continue to be the case. <3
