I used to post all the time, what has happened to me??

I signed up for

wipbigbang with 4 WIPs. I hope I can finish them. I feel like this is one last push before I go original full-time. Or maybe I'm kidding myself. 🙃

I signed up for the Guardian icon battle and then didn't do it, which I still feel guilty for even though it's over.

I've watched the first 2 eps of Sam and Bucky and really enjoyed them. Probably going to watch the 3rd episode today.

My hormones are CRAZY. Last month I had a horniness I haven't had ever in my life, then came the crankies, and now I'm weepy. Hot flashes happen all the time.

The barometric pressure has been super high. That's what I'm blaming all the pain on.

I've watched 2 episodes of Word of Honor and was ho-hum bored.

Currently reading: 12 5 books at once.

Just finished The Heroine's Journey by Gail Carriger - I was interested in it and I didn't throw it across the room.

Oh, and we now have Scrivener 3 for Windows! It looks so much prettier than the old Windows version. It doesn't want to autosave things unless I have them in OneDrive for some reason, but I'm sure that's a user problem, not a program problem. I've done something wrong. I'll figure it out eventually.

It's probably not that many. More like 5, it just feels like more. I get so excited and start reading a book, then I hear about a different book and get excited about that one...

My attention span is so short!

Heeeee. So many good things to read, it's hard to pick one. I usually have several going at once, too.

I'm not trying to do "one last push before I go original" because there's no way I'm going to *not* write fanfic, even if I do also write original works.

But I'm trying to clear out the last lingering bits of Buffy fandom from my hard drive, so that's what I signed up for WIP Big Bang with. (After that, I have three more things to get off my plate, and I can walk away from the fandom without feeling like I left something undone. Everything else in that fandom is a cowritten WIP with Sophie... oh, crap. FOUR more things. Still. Everything else is a cowritten WIP with Sophie that is AU enough that we could easily file off the serial numbers.)

(I use a different name on Discord: Mousse-Douce. Yes, I named myself after a puppet dustbunny in a Quebecois kids' show.)

It's been very hard for me to try to balance writing original fiction with fanfiction. I know plenty of people who manage, but I don't know if I can do it.
