It doesn't help that, no matter what subs you're watching, they're all bad in their own special way. Send up a flare if you need help, plus you can ask questions at theuntamed_mdzs.
I did find several things a lot clearer on rewatch, partly because the drama's structure means the first two episodes drop you in the deep end, and only make sense after you get done with the very long (but pretty!) flashback.
Based on my experience you'll hit a point where it'll go from slow going to "OMG how many eps can I watch at once!" For me that started at about 13 or 14.

I'm watching on Netflix. I'm on ep 8 now. It's going slowly, but I'm hoping if I get into it more my consumption will speed up. :)
