I haven't been writing (or posting here) because I've been so engrossed in Red Dead Redemption 2. The game is very... involved, and there are so many things to do and see. It's a HUGE game. I'm on Chapter 3.

So pretty much no writing is getting done at all. I've written 2k this month so far. That's it. /o\

I need an Arthur Morgan icon.

I'm having a lot of fun, but the shooting part is frustrating. I'm not very good at shooting multiple targets, so when a gang ambushes me I die. Every time.

Being thoroughly distracted by Other Fun Things is the best way to be distracted from being fannish and/or writing, in my opinion!

I’ve never played Red Dead Redemption 2, I dunno much about it other than there’s cowboys and, for some reason, dinosaur fossils

Haha yes, dinosaur bones, lots to find! I wish the paleontologist paid more to find them, though.

It's really very good. It was hard to get into at first but I'm hooked now.

You'll get back to writing eventually and who knows, maybe the game will inspire some interesting ideas down the road. Inspiration does come from the oddest places sometimes. :D
