Yesterday I spent a bunch of time thinking about the SGA plot bunny I'd had a few years back but never wrote because I was out of the fandom.

It was android!John, based around the Pygmalion myth, and it was, of course, McShep because I love McShep.

Anyway, Bee and I were talking about how Zhu Yilong/Shen Wei is just so beautiful and HOW IS HE REAL and it made me think of the myth again. But the SGA plot bunny still feels fresh and interesting.

I dreamed about Rodney finding the Ancient android lab, and how he kept it from everyone but started building and programming John. And Ancient android John would be so flirty and badass, of COURSE Rodney would fall in love with him.

Ugh, get these random SGA thoughts out of my head. I haven't been in that fandom in well over a decade, WTF.

It's weird because usually when I leave a fandom, I am gone. Who knows, maybe I'll write it. (probably not but you never know)

I can not leave a fandom, I've never left one. I always come back for the possibilities (and yes Xover rarepairings is a thing for me. Yesterday I was thinking in a Guardian/Tokyo Babylon Xover with the mixed pairing and what did you say about a Clow/Ye Shun? Fye D. Flowright? I would LOVE to see Kurogane and Syaoran in the Guardian. OH! why I didn't think about Wish? OH! McShep with Chobits! I better stop writing right now).

Zhao Yunlan travels back in time to discover he built Shen Wei (and Ye Zun) out of the same materials as Ma Gui and Fu You fashioned the Hallows 10K years ago? You already have ZYL talking about how he's missing love like it's not missing from his life, but a character trait he lacks, and you have other characters commenting on his cold heart, so he's a perfect Pygmalion, for all his flirting. But say he decides the Hallows need actual guards/protectors/sentinels, and that's the twins, and then he ends up falling in love with one while the rebels manage to steal the other and the Hallows.

Does that help transition the idea to your current fandom at all?
