That's impossible to answer, and it always changes when I am reading in different fandoms.

Build an Ivory Tower by teot is probably my #1 lizard brain fic at the moment, though Lap Magnet by Prairie_Grass is probably a better choice for a rec as there's actual plot to it. ;)

Or alternatively, anything ever written by alisvolatpropiis, who writes so beautifully that it's almost surprising that it can be THAT hot but also THAT well written. Most of the time something is either hot but so badly written that I'm almost ashamed of myself for finding it hot, or amazing writing with everything but then shies away from being sexy. This author is just... idk. I'm not sure there wasn't a deal with a demon in there somewhere in exchange for writing talent.
