a couple of things

1. I have been reading SGA fic! Some of them have been rereads, like Victors and Freedom, but others have been either totally new to me or had completely left my brain so it was as if they were completely new. Story of a Girl is a fic that was posted while I was still actively reading SGA fic, but at the time I kinda scrunched my nose at the concept of 'always a girl' fic. Now that I've read it, I have to say that it's probably the best 'always a girl' fic I've read. (the only other fic that compares, in my mind, is For a Different View.) FEEL FREE TO TRY TO CHANGE MY MIND WITH LINKS TO OTHER AWESOME FICS THO.

2. It's been awhile since I was FORCED to read fic off AO3. (lol forced) After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I figured out that Evernote Clearly was the best way to save my eyeballs.

3. It's probably dumb of me to get reinvested in the Stargate 'verse and its characters the day before I'm supposed to start working on an epic Teen Wolf fic, huh?

The Not a Pretty Girl series is my absolute favourite (in which Bob Bryar is a girl)

I think by and large Hockey RPF has done it best but there are too many to mention (also I think not your fandom amirite?).

From NCIS the Lorena Joy Gibbs series is pretty awesome

SG1 Mezzanine which is a Cameron-Mitchell-is-a-girl AU of Broken Wings both of which feature Clan Mitchell as referenced in Lorena Joy above (Lorena Joy is standalone, Mezzanine is, I feel, more awesome if you at least read the first story in the Broken Wings series and see all the playing with gender politics that gets done when you compare the two)

Once in a while I get back into reading SGA fic, and it usually makes me happy. A lot of good fic to be found there. :)

I'm glad you're back into SGA reading. I'd forgotten about the other one you mentioned in the other SGA post. Will try out this one.

Re: 3, it's probably the universe making up for the fact that I need to start working on an epic SGA fic and have instead been reading tons of Teen Wolf fic.
