No, actually, people NEED to read the comments, so they know what attitudes exist and start to figure out ways to combat them. In the end, kharma gets most of these idiots. They have a stroke and wind up -- guess where. There they fume at the indignity of having the universe teach them a very humiliating lesson. It's always finding they are in the same sinking boat that makes them realise maybe there is a reason for so-called "entitlement" or "socialist" programs. Because they can do EVERYTHING right, save and work hard and STILL wind up in that dreaded situation through no fault of their own... and hopefully with more compassionate people then they are to help them.
