Leverage is the most amazing show.

I really should be doing things other than watching this show, but...

I do not understand how I missed this show when it was on. Like I said before, I remember watching the TNT ads for it when it first started, but the ads showed a very different show than I'm watching. This show is so incredible.

The first season was shaky, I admit. Like they didn't know what they wanted to do. Maybe that's why the ads were iffy? Maybe they were selling one thing but then the show evolved into something else. I don't know.

But! Okay, some of my favorite elements in fiction? They converge in this series like a perfect storm.

(I went to look them up on tvtropes in order to give you some links in this post, and then I saw that Leverage is so damned tropetastic that they warrant 5 pages of alphabetical listings of tropes!)

but yeah, biggest ones are TEAM and CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT and FOUND FAMILY and AGE OF THE GEEK, BABY!

(um, not to mention the plot stuff where they're a group of (mostly) former bad guys who pull off impossible cons to help folks who've been wronged by the REAL bad guys)

I just started season 5 and I love this show SO MUCH.

okay so one of these days I will stop talking about Leverage but that's not gonna be anytime soon.

there is an episode... I haven't watched it yet, but I was looking around Tumblr and I got um, spoiled for this episode and ( cut for a really ridiculous spoiler ) <-- no really, it's a ridiculous spoiler and I've only got it under the cut because some people. but also because discovering this particular thing should happen and I kinda want you to click that cut tag just to read this spoiler so you can understand how AMAZINGLY RIDICULOUS this show is.

the episode in question is s4e5.

I do not understand why more people didn't watch this show. Okay, so I was talking to majoline about it and she was like 'TNT made this show seem bad! the ads for it kinda sucked!' and she is so so right because I remember seeing ads for this show and even knowing that Christian Kane was in it did not sell me on it because the promos for it did not actually tell me what I actually needed to know.

It's like when I got into bandom. ( many paragraphs about prior fandoms and what hooked me into them and then there's a couple of tangents! )

I had a point in there I think. But I lost it somewhere along the way.

I am still full of SQUEE for MCR. I just can't contain it.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I don't know when it'll wear off, but it's so FUN right now!

And I'm not just excited for what MCR is doing, I'm excited for what FANDOM is doing. ♥
