YES YES YES OMG YES. I was thinking about that just recently. (Okay, actually I think about that a lot.) dS should have so many more AUs! The one where Fraser is a Tim Horton's and Ray is a Krispy Kreme, for instance.

(I am hoping to do a Fraser-is-a-vampire one for the Halloween [community profile] ds_flashfiction challenge, at least!)
