It's always so hard to have to write fic in a fandom you've lost interest in. It makes the already painful writing process even more painful.

Ugh yes. I've never had this problem before - when I've hopped fandoms before I never really had outstanding WIPs or obligations. But I was in Teen Wolf fandom for so long I kinda have accumulated stuff. Like I left about half my belongings in my Ex's house and I'm slowly moving out. :P
