And then settiai just posted saying that it was posted on Facebook that she's passed away.

I have a life because of her. I have friends because of her. I don't know what I would've done if she'd never been in my life. I don't know what else to say.

I know, it's VAL. She's so young, and so strong, and so funny and talented and it just isn't fair.

Val introduced me to everyone. I wouldn't know you or Becca or just so many of my friends without WeBoB. She welcomed me to fandom and posted my first fics on her site (even though they were TERRIBLE, she was so so nice about it).

Ugh. I was thinking, does she even have a Fanlore page? She should have one.

I actually just went and looked a little while ago, and - while she's mentioned on a few pages (such as the WeBoB one) - it doesn't look like there's a page specifically for her.

Same here. I vaguely knew a few people already from Nummy Treat, but WeBoB was where I really got to know everyone. And it was all because of her.

	I'm signing up for Fanlore in order to make a page for her. Fandom wasn't a community to me until Val opened up the board and we (all of us) started talking. Yeah, we're saying the same things here. I don't know where to post this, I'm all a mess. This is SO not right. She was a splendid force of nature, she was so funny and amazing and it's so unfair. She was one of those people when every time she posted my heart beat a little faster, because she was so real. How could this even happen? I spent the past few hours re-reading her journal off and on.

Hey, sorry, just checked email! It can totally be changed to be Valerie Lewis - I went by the name that was on the Band of Buggered site, and didn't know if she was - if that was her name! But if you think the top level name should be Lewis we can totes change that; we just need to change it on the B o B page too.

	I looked and I have no idea how to change the name of the page to Valerie Lewis. Do I start a new page and c/p what we have on the Valerie Z and then somehow (ha!
